    Construction Documentation using UAS (drones), photography, scanning and video and its impact on the construction community.

    Visual construction documentation requires a full suite of services, easily accessible on an intuitive cloud-based platform with local boots-on-the-ground support. These services include streaming, webcams, professional facility management videos, virtual walkthroughs, 3D Scanning, UAV's (Drones), and mapping to deliver interactive as-builts by linking inspection-grade visual documentation to architectural plans to capture every project with exceptional clarity.

    Brian Smith is a leader in construction technology in the West and is the Emerging Technologies Product Manager at Multivista and a Construction Technologist at Lecia Geosystems. Focusing on product integration and workflows to increase productivity, quality and accountability on the job site. He has built an entire VDC group from the ground up including managing IT, GPS/Survey and CAD/BIM modeling groups. He specializes in Virtual Design Construction (VDC), 3D design, 4D modeling, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination. Brian has been designing and working on heavy civil projects for over 20 years, including hydroelectric, water/wastewater, industrial, road, bridge and airports. Brian's unique skill set of design, engineering, construction, modeling and technology provide him with a unique perspective resulting in full assessment of risk and risk mitigation for any construction project. He enjoys teaching at Washington Engineering Institute, speaking at conferences across the country, advising on technology councils and leading industry software platforms.

    Don Cate is a leader in construction technology in the Midwest and is Regional Midwest Partner at Multivista as a focused business and solution development partner in MN IA and WI markets. Focusing on product integration and workflows to increase productivity, quality and accountability on the job site. He has built an entire business development and account support team that develops solutions for the construction community that includes Owners, Design and Engineering and Construction professionals.. He specializes in solving common every day issues on site during construction along with complex solutions to benefit all stake holders in a build or renovation process. Don has been designing and working on an array of projects for over 24 years, including water/wastewater, industrial, road, bridge, K12, higher education, healthcare, private and public entities along with rail and airports. Don's unique skill set of tenacity, passion for an ever changing industry, and ability to solve problems and acceptance of changes in technology provide him with a unique perspective resulting in full assessment of risk and risk mitigation for any construction project. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, boating and all things related to positive change in an industry that is evolving fast.
